One of the aspects I struggle with is the sharing with my story. This piece was part of a series of 3, and is intensely personal for our entire family. Medicine and science loom large in our family and we are reminded of this on a daily basis. My husband has Cystic Fibrosis, a serious condition which affects many systems of the body, most seriously the lungs. 2 years before we met, 22 years ago, he received a double lung transplant.
This piece, Uncertainty, represents the period prior to transplant – the waiting list, hospital admissions, unknowingness.
